Self study and reading are important skills towards developing the habit of life-long learning. This skill becomes an indispensable tool for the careers of students in the future. For this purpose a well equipped and stocked library with different types of books on all Subjects, magazines, periodicals, and newspapers is available. Every year new reading material is added to the library and a qualified librarian is appointed to maintain the library. Every child is inspired and encouraged to make full use of the library to further their study, broaden and deepen their minds and express creativity.

The school has spacious and well equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology, Mathematics and Computer. Students are imparted practical education under the watchful eyes of the instructors and teachers.

The Physics lab is fully equipped with apparatus to carry out experiments and activities prescribed by CBSE and investigatory projects related to mechanics, light, magnetism, electricity, heat and optics. It is a well maintained lab with all necessary equipments required to perform experiments.

The chemistry department of St. Augustine's English Medium School offers courses in Chemistry up to class XII as per CBSE requirements and syllabus. All chemicals and equipments required for practicals and projects are provided. The lab has running water with ample storage area for chemicals, equipment and balances. The students are allotted their own experiment tables in batches and each such table contains every necessary reagent for experimental purpose. A full time, qualified lab attendant is also present to help the students during practicals.

In the Biology lab, preserved specimens, charts and prepared slides depict how complex forms of life were evolved from simpler ones. It has all the necessary equipments for experimental purpose. Students attend biology practicals with enthusiasm because it is only through this subject that they understand the role of modern concepts like genetic engineering in today's life.

"To produce a body fit to house and to express an educated mind, a mind fit to inhabit and use an educated body, and both fit to co-operate in all skillful pursuits and the creation of beauty", the sports faculty plays a big role in the sporting provisions at St. Augustine's English Medium School. The school has excellent infrastructure available for the students to excel in sports.


Computer Lab
Computers are the most modern way of leading life now-a-days and to keep our students abreast with latest knowledge in the field of computers, the school has most modern computers. The computer lab is fully air conditioned and contains sufficient number of computers.


A large auditorium-cum-multipurpose hall is available for a variety of inter school and intra school activities. This helps the students to showcase their talents and build up their confidence.

The auditorium has a seating capacity of around 500 and is fully air cooled. The equipment and facilities available in the auditorium can compete with any professional or commercial hall elsewhere.

School Bus
Students can avail of the school transport subject to the availability of seats. The bus routes are drawn out and the parents should consult the school transport in charge for necessary details. Bus facility is not mandatory. Refined behavior is expected in the school bus. Misbehavior of any sort will be seriously dealt with. It is compulsory for everyone to be quite in the bus. Disturbance others by shouting or passing remarks to outside, throwing of articles in and out of the bus, running through the bus etc. are strictly prohibited. No student is allowed to eat in the bus. All students using the school bus are expected to be at the bus stop at least five minutes before the arrival of the bus. The buses will not wait for late-comers. Children should stay away from the main road until the bus stops. Bus fees should be paid at the end of every month.
